Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of MyRecipes ("we", "us"), a recipe-saving and meal-planning app at getmyrecipes.app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Your account

• You need an account to save recipes. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on it.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use MyRecipes.
• Don't use MyRecipes to break the law, to upload content you don't have the right to share, or to interfere with the app or other people's use of it (for example, by scraping, overloading, or trying to get around limits).

Your content

• Recipes, photos, notes, grocery lists, and meal plans you add stay yours. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only as needed to run the app for you, your household, and anyone you share a link with.
• When you import a recipe from a website, you're responsible for how you use it. Imported recipes are for your personal use, and we keep a link to the original source.
• If you create a share link, anyone with the link can view that recipe and MyRecipes users can save a copy. Turning the link off stops new views, but copies others already saved stay with them.
• We may remove content that breaks these terms. If you see a shared recipe that does, use the "Report this recipe" link on its page or email support@getmyrecipes.app.

MyRecipes Premium

• The free plan includes up to 10 recipes. Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited recipes, photo import, meal planning, and grocery lists for you and your household, for the life of your account. There's no subscription and nothing renews.
• Payment is handled by Stripe. The price is shown before you pay.
• Refunds. If you're not happy with Premium, email support@getmyrecipes.app within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. A refund ends Premium on your account. After 14 days, we may still refund at our discretion or where the law requires it.
• "Lifetime" means for as long as MyRecipes operates and your account is in good standing. If we ever shut down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and send you a copy of your recipes on request.

Connected services

Some features use other companies' services: Google Sign-In through Clerk, payments through Stripe, and, if you connect it, your Kroger or Ralphs account to fill a cart. Their own terms apply to your use of them. Adding items to a store cart doesn't place an order; you review and check out with the store yourself, and prices, availability, and substitutions are up to the store.

Recipe information

Recipes in MyRecipes may be imported, automatically processed, or entered by users, and things like imported text, ingredient scaling, unit conversions, and store product matches can be wrong. Always check ingredients and labels yourself, especially for allergies and dietary needs, and use your own judgment when cooking.

Disclaimers and liability

MyRecipes is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Ending your account

You can stop using MyRecipes at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@getmyrecipes.app. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use MyRecipes after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
